Polished strips of plain bronze are fed through special rollers, each of which is covered with different designs. These rollers press the given design into the bronze strips which are then bent and soldered to create the picture frame, jewelry box or bronze fitting for the crystal. The finished picture frame is then either decorated with enamel in different colors which is inlaid by hand, or with applications of decorative pressings to give the frame its final touch. The resulting products are treated to appear naturally antique although their special finish will never change.

F.G. Galassi, Inc. was founded by John Petromilli in 1996 and incorporated in 1997. John was making and selling art since 1989, thus he had a close affiliation with the Galassi brothers of F.G. Galassi, srl in Italy. His focus switched to photo frames in 1996 in which he used fine Italian mouldings made by the Galassi brothers. Today F.G. Galassi still continues to bring quality Italian mouldings into the United States to create beautiful photo frames, alarm clocks, ornaments, as well as other gift items.
